Welcome to Calico Conservation. The mission of Calico Conservation is to inform the fishing public of the importance and fragility of California’s Calico Bass fishery and to encourage catch and release fishing of this true California Native.  Calico Conservation will also identify and support - through merchandise sales - those organizations which endorse the responsible fishing and preservation of the Calico Bass.

Calico Conservation is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Coastal Conservation Association of California to spread information regarding the  importance of catch and release fishing for Calico Bass.  Specifically, Calico Conservation will donate a portion from every sale of its merchandise (shirts, tanks, sweatshirts, stickers) to CCA of California.  So proud to be a part of this important cause. 
The Coastal Conservation Association of California (CCA CAL) was created in 2015 when recreational anglers and outdoor enthusiasts grouped together to work for the conservation and enhancement of our marine resources and coastal environments.

Today, they are working to protect not only the health, habitat and sustainability of our marine resources, but also the interests of recreational saltwater anglers and their access to the resources they cherish and use on a daily basis.
